I want a break from Trump’s atrocities. Everyday I wake up to hear yet another announcement about a citizen denial, a budget cut, an accusation and threat to an once loyal lemming, a glorified emblem of himself going ahead – like bridges and statues and ballrooms while there is still shavings happening to health budgets, school budgets, disaster budgets, any budget that supports the regular citizen.
I hear people try to assassinate him and am actually saddened that they did not achieve it. That would be so much quicker and then I could drink the bottle of champagne I’ve been saving. What he is doing to the country physically, financially, emotionally, is one enormous disaster. And you can’t help wonder, not only how long is this going to go on, but also how in the world did we allow this to happen? He is so full of lies and of himself that I can’t understand why people could have even liked him. He already had a history of not paying employees, taking advantage of banks, exploiting women, killing babies, prejudices galore, government ignorance and doesn’t even read!!! And people wanted that? How many people fell for his sugar daddy act?
He gave an avenue for some to express hatreds that they kept behind doors. He also fueled them even though those hatreds are not the feelings of the majority of our people now, nor the base of our country’s foundation. Our country was built on a multitude of nationalities all seeking to build a future and to be able to be themselves. Did they always embrace each other? No. There was a rotation of pointing fingers – Irish, English, French, Native American, Chinese, Jewish, German, Black, Japanese, ….. Making you wonder if we will ever grow up! One hundred percent of us came from another country in our family heritage. Hello people!!!
But now we are stuck in this mud. The mud of procedures, legalities, processes while some of his followers decide they have had enough and some sacrifice their political future by staying close to Trump’s tits.
And he knows it’s going to end. He knows that the devil has a hot gold seat waiting for him. He’ll probably get an award for being the longest running criminal in modern history. But when he does go, whether it’s by his encroaching ill health, a one shot deal or laws catching up and landing him in jail, he will have left the biggest mess since the great flood.
And boy, do we have our work cut out for us. So let’s start now.
