Rainbow Art Brings Hope to Our World – Make Rainbow Art, Win Art Supplies

Posted on March 30, 2020March 30, 2020 by Editor

Art Accelerated – Blink and You’ll Miss It – Art Gallery in Tillamook is sponsoring a great art contest and the gallery will be our communities windows. Since many of us live in rural areas, and might not have much traffic – send your rainbow artwork to the Tillamook County Pioneer as well. We are setting up a “Rainbow Gallery” and we’ll be posting everyone’s rainbow art. As you’ll see, entries already include more than just paintings and drawings. Come on Tillamook County, get creative. Show us your rainbows! Photos, artwork in all mediums – let’s fill our pages and windows with rainbows of hope. Email to artaccelerated@gmail.com or editor@tillamookcountypioneer.net, post on Facebook or on Instagram and you’ll be entered to win art supplies from Art Accelerated gallery. So get busy and make rainbows – the deadline for entry is April 6th. Watch for a virtual tour of the Art Accelerated Gallery, too. Coming soon!

A growing trend around the world is to hang handmade “rainbow art” in the windows of homes. The goal is that spirits will be lifted when fellow neighbors are out getting some fresh air, or driving by, and see the neighborhoods and towns decorated with symbols of hope.
We want to become part of this positive art movement world-wide. We encourage children and adults alike to hang their rainbow art in their home’s windows for all to see. If you are a downtown business owner, maybe you can enlist help from your family and friends to create some rainbow art for your downtown business windows, too. Everyone needs encouragement and his/her spirit lifted—even in our part of the world!
Submit photos of your art to Art Accelerated’s Facebook page or on Instagram or to artaccelerated@gmail.com. You will be entered into a drawing for a bag of FREE art supplies. Deadline to be entered is April 6th at 5PM. Be encouraged!
Here are the entries so far:
