This week the two cranes arrived at the Tillamook Air Museum, marking an important first step in addressing the damage to our historic hangar.
The first order of business will be the removal of the large section of roofing that has remained hanging from the damaged area since the December storm. The cranes will soon be positioned to do this important work.
While phase one is not yet the repair of the damaged roof itself, it is a necessary first step as work moves forward at Hangar B.
We know many of you have been following the museum closely and asking about the hangar, so we wanted to share this progress with you. We’ll continue to keep everyone updated as work moves ahead.
