* WHERE…Much of southwest Washington and northwest Oregon, excluding the high Cascades, mid-Columbia Gorge and Hood River Valley.

* WHEN…Until 100 AM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water is expected later tonight and Wednesday. Areas most likely to see such flooding will be the coast, coast mountains, and throughout the I-5 corridor.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 246 PM PST, Rain, heavy at times, will spread across southwest Washington and far northwest Oregon later tonight. Rain will gradually spread to the east and southeast through Wednesday morning. Rainfall more variable in the Cascades, with 1 to 4 inches expected, heaviest being north of Santiam River basin. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. With already saturated soils, this new rainfall will cause many smaller streams and culverts to run full, and cause minor flooding.
