WHAT A NIGHT!
The 2026 Tillamook County Search and Rescue Banquet was an incredible success on Saturday September 12, 2026, and we want to thank everyone who helped make it such a memorable evening!
This year’s banquet had the highest attendance we have seen since Sheriff Brown took office, with a packed house, great food, plenty of laughs, and an incredible amount of support for Tillamook County Search and Rescue. Thanks to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, volunteered, and helped make the night so lively.
The banquet brought in approximately $65,000, which will directly support the Tillamook County Search and Rescue program and the volunteers who dedicate their time to helping others throughout our community.
One of the most memorable moments of the evening came during the Key’d Auction. After winning the grand prize, Jerry Dove generously donated the prize back to the banquet to be auctioned off again! His generosity helped make an already successful evening even more successful, and we are incredibly grateful for his support.
We also had the opportunity to recognize one of our outstanding SAR volunteers. Christina Gregore was presented with the Dean Burdick SAR Volunteer of the Year Award for her dedication and service to the SAR program. Congratulations, Christina, and thank you for everything you do!“This banquet is a great example of what happens when our community comes together to support the men and women who volunteer their time to help others,” said Sheriff Brown. “The turnout and generosity this year was incredible. I am extremely proud of our Search and Rescue volunteers and grateful to everyone who continues to support this program.”
As always, we could not have done this without our sponsors and donors. Your generosity makes a tremendous difference and allows our SAR volunteers to have the training, equipment, and resources they need to respond when our community needs them most.
A huge thank-you also goes to all of our SAR volunteers who showed up and worked hard to make this event happen. From setup and preparation to serving, organizing, and cleaning up, this banquet simply would not happen without you.
