Tillamook PUD is pleased to announce the selection of local organizations that will receive funding through the 2026 Community Support Grant Program. This year, the program received 42 applications. Following a thorough evaluation process, the Tillamook PUD Board of Directors has awarded grants to the following community organizations for their respective projects in 2026:
•American Legion Tillamook Post 47 / Tillamook 4-H Shooting Sports Club: Indoor Shooting Range New Electrical Service project.
•Bay City Arts Center: Interior/Exterior Lighting Upgrade to LED and Repair of Electrical Infrastructure project.
•Fire Mountain School: Emergency Communications and Power project.
•Hoffman Center for the Arts: Ductless Heat Pump project.
•Kiawanda Community Center: Entry Hall Improvements project.
•Nestucca Valley Community Alliance: Phase 3 of the Community Park project.
•Netarts-Oceanside Rural Fire Protection District: Emergency Access and Fuel Mitigation project.
•Netarts-Oceanside Volunteer Firefighters Association / Netarts Emergency Response Volunteers: Netarts Community Readiness and Resilience project.
•North County Recreation District: North County Emergency Shelter Upgrade project.
•North Tillamook Library Friends: Heating Restoration project at the Manzanita Library.
•Oceanside Community Club: Technology Upgrade project.
•Pine Grove Community House: Community House Improvement project.
•Rockaway Beach Firefighters Association: Emergency Preparedness Storage Container project.
•South Tillamook County Library Club: Storage Expansion project.
•The Hope Chest: Electrical Upgrades at the Nehalem Facility project.
•Tillamook Chamber of Commerce: Shared Community Audio-Visual Equipment project.
•Tillamook County Family YMCA: Pastega Activities Center Accessibility project.
•Tillamook County Habitat for Humanity: Pacific Street Ductless Heat Pump Installation project.
•Tillamook Early Learning Center: Retrofit Fluorescent Lights to LED project.
•Tillamook Gun Club: Repairs to Trap 1 project.
•Tillamook High School Interact Club: Improvements at the Peace Park project.
•Tillamook Senior Citizens Club, Inc.: Ballroom Chair Replacement project.
This year’s applicants collectively requested over $349,000 in funding. Given the high number of projects and limited program budget, the decision-making process was highly competitive.
Tillamook PUD is pleased to provide support to these outstanding organizations and looks forward to the positive impact each project will have on the community.
The Tillamook PUD Community Support Grant Program was developed in 2003 to assist local not-for-profit organizations in funding projects that promote economic growth and enhance community livability in Tillamook County. The Board of Directors budgets funds for the program annually; the amount budgeted for the program in 2026 was $100,000.
