Gorgeous girl Smokey is a petite two-year-old cat who is healthy, happy and ready for her own home. She came to United Paws from a bad situation and had been in poor condition, but has recovered beautifully. When UP started fostering Smokey, she was traumatized and hid under her cat bed in her enclosure for several weeks. We gave her time to adjust, and lots of love and reassurance. And like a beautiful flower opening up, Smokey has truly blossomed from the attention and love into a very special kitty.
Smokey adores having her long fluffy fur stroked and likes lots of one-on-one attention. She’s also an avid toy mouse huntress and loves to play. After observing Smokey for a while, we think she would be happiest in a household where she is THE ONE and ONLY. She does best in a calm household. Older children and adults would be ideal, especially if she gets love and attention regularly.
Smokey has a very charming personality and will bring great joy to someone willing to give her time at first to settle in. She had one litter of kittens and now is spayed, vaccinated, and healthy.
