United Paws Kittens of the Week graphic featuring Lilo and Stitch, a tuxedo kitten and a tabby kitten, with a note that they were found abandoned and rescued by a foster.

United Paws Kittens of the Week: Lilo & Stitch

Posted on August 9, 2026 by United Paws of Tillamook

Introducing Lilo and Stitch, United Paws’ Kittens of the Week. Stitch and Lilo were found in a hole in the ground in a woodsy area. They were flea ridden and hungry. After their rescue by United Paws and with the love, care, and nurturing provided by their foster, this bonded pair are happy, healthy and ready for their forever home. Their foster says they are “really good kittens.” They are good eaters and always use their litter box!

Stitch is a smartie who knows his name! With a brown tipped white nose, all white chest and legs, his inquisitive green eyes and perky ears capture his sweet and curious nature. Stitch is an adventurer who loves to climb and chase Lilo and the other fosters. He is extremely playful and assumes all things are toys. He is especially fascinated by brooms and loves to chase after them! When he is not chasing and playing, Stitch can often be found sleeping with Lilo or one of his friends high in a cat tower. Better yet, if he can find a knitting or crochet bag in a quiet place…Stitch might sneak in for a cozy nap.

Lilo has beautiful tuxedo markings with a white nose with a cute black patch on one side. Out of the two, Lilo is the shyest and most reserved…at least until he gets to know you. He is a watcher and is learning to trust his surroundings. Although he can be a bit shy around humans, Lilo loves to play with Stitch and gets along great with other cats and kittens in his foster home.

Lilo and Stitch have not been around dogs yet, but they are used to an active household with loud noises such as a vacuum. They will fit right in with other friendly cats or kittens. In fact, Stitch will jump right into the action without hesitation, but Lilo will do best with a patient adoptive family who will give him lots of time to get used to his new environment. A slow introduction to gentle dogs will likely result in more best friends.

These best buddies will provide so much love and entertainment for you and your family…Are you ready for fun? Learn more at unitedpaws.org, or email unitedpawshelp@gmail.com to schedule a Meet & Greet.
